A mechanism, not a motor.
The Constant Force Spring stores rotational energy mechanically. A single counterweighted spring matches the load on the desk, so adjusting the height takes one hand and zero electricity. Silent. Cordless. Calibrated once, maintenance-free for life.
It is the same principle that powers vintage clock movements - applied to a workstation that needs to move tens of thousands of times across its life and never need a service call.

Solid oak, not laminate.
Every Woody desk top is real Danish oak, FSC-certified to confirm the forest of origin and the chain of custody. The finish is oil-rubbed - it ages into the surface rather than peeling off it.
Steel and aluminium components are sourced from European mills with full traceability. Every component on the bill of materials can be reused or recycled at end of life. Procurement teams get the documentation they need for green-building certifications.

Made in Denmark, by name.
Our manufacturing partner is the same Danish workshop behind some of the country's most exported design icons - Carl Hansen, Wegner, Finn Juhl. The oak is the same oak. The joinery technique is the same. The QA gate is the same.
Every workstation passes through individual inspection before crating. We don't ship from a warehouse - we ship from a workshop.
Warranty / 04
Five years. Every product. No asterisks.
A five-year comprehensive warranty across the entire range, including commercial use. Not three years. Not "household use only". Not "consumables excluded".
If the spring stops springing, the oak warps, or anything mechanical fails inside that window, we replace the part. Most of our calls turn out to be assembly questions or finish-care queries - because the engineering doesn't fail.
